brake booster

    Anyone know where i can get a rebuild kit for a brake booster. I already have the master cylinder rebuild kit just need the brake booster.

    How hard is it to change boosters? I just did a bunch of uderhood detailing with an engine swap and a new one sure would finish it off. Sorry for the hi-jack :Dou:

    Very easy! Just disconnect the master cylinder from the booster via 2 bolts, and then remove the 4 bolts holding the booster to the firewall. Disconnect the pin from the brake pedal and yoru done. You can do this in under a half hour. You may have to remove your brake lines depending on how much "give" you have in them.

    check the rod lengths between the old & new booster.

    Got mine last night and had it installed in about 40 minutes. Cars not streetable yet, so can t tell on its functionality, but George N recommends them, so they must be good. Seems like a nice quality part for $110!
