Brake lights tied to ignition

    buickbonehead WOT Baby!

I recently had my fuse box unbolted (no wires cut or disconnected) from the firewall. Now my brake lights only work with the key turned on.

It's a '65 Wildcat and I don't remember them being tied to the ignition like that. Could I have done something to cause this?

    Thanks Rick

I got the multimeter out tonight and tested my spare dash and it too has the brake lights tied to the ignition switch....so all is ok.

    Rick,
Yes it is okay, the first time I notice that was a car show when I cut off the iginiton before coming to a complete stop and I was told that I had no brake lights. After checking everything, turned on the iginition and BINGO, brake lights.

I just gets better and better. Very nice. Let's see an interior shot of that bad boy.

I hope to fire up my rebuilt 425 2x4 this Friday. Keep your fingers crossed.
