Doing a Disc / Power Brake conversion. mounted the Booster and Master Cyl. and went under the dash to mount the Booster rod to the brake peddle. Peddle is higher than gas peddle but does not come up high enough to push in brake switch that was adjuster for manual brakes. Adjusted up booster rod fully. Still the switch is about 1/2" from being pushed in by the peddle return up. looks like i may be able to adjust the switch in,looks close may bottom out before full contact . But ill look at my parts car to see if the peddle is bent different or theres another brake switch mount that is different. Guess there is a peddle highth differenve in manual and power brakes. And yes i did compare the booster mount and rod length to make sure they were the same length as the core i turned in. Any one know about this conversion step?

With power brakes you have to move the switch to the bottom set of mtg. holes on the brake pedal support. Take the switch mtg. bracket off & you can see the lower positioning holes.
The rod from the cylinder also gets the lower of the two holes for the clevice on the brake pedal arm.

    got it, Tweaked it.

Yea I checked it out yesterday, It was so close anyway I just bent the bracket slightly with pliers. On my parts car I saw what you talking about. It was easier to just tweak the bracket than to remove it . I did make swre that the switch was in line after bending the bracket with the brake peddle arm. If I have a problen ill use mt spare bracker and install it in the other mounting hole.
    Thanks, Freakazoid
