I posted the same question last week @ www.buickperformance.com
Was directed to a hardware store. What you need is a 90 deg. brass fitting with 1/8" male threads one end & 3/8" inverted flare on the other. Local store had a bin full.

The hole in the intake is an 1/8" pipe thread. You can get those at some hardware stores.

I'll post a pic tomorrow on the piece I just bought. Looks similar to the one on the car but can't compare as car is away for storage. I have it on a spare intake & looks like it could work. I can get them by the box or by the " each".

We'll need a few opinions here. This is what I have but I'm not certain if it will work.
Looks similar to the existing fitting on the car now. $ 1.42 Cdn. each.

That one is not correct but the correct one does appear ih the AMK catalogue.

Those fittings are made by Weatherhead. They're carried by many hardware, plumbing, and auto parts stores.
Part number for 3/8" tube and a 1/8" NPT is 402x6x2.

Now that I see the right one, yes I agree I have the wrong one. I'll get one of these over the Winter.

    Steve,
If you can't find them, I will get some at the yard on Sat for spares.

I know this is an old thread but thought I would throw an update out there. Best place for that weatherhead fitting is industrial supplies places, they are used on compressors and the like. Generally guys who sell that stuff will have weatherhead fittings. Couldn't find them at local plumbing or hardware stores, kind of an oddball now it seems.

Anyway weatherhead 402X6X2 is a dead match for GM (might be 1/16" wider overall) piece. Also, Everco 400EE and Edelmann 122620 are the same item, although I have not seen them personally.

Might give anyone searching a few options. :TU:
