Heard a funny noise on the hand side when turing, especially to the right. Once i jacked the car up i quickly saw that the stablizer link had snapped.

How dangerous is it to ride like that until i get replacement pasrts?

    Thank you.

Its not dangerous to ride along without it, you'll be fine. :)

I looked at the links on my 77 Lesabre and they looked identical. I was trying to get it off to replace it for the broken one on my 70 Lesabre, and it snapped right off! Talk about cheap. And i'm by no means strong.

New ones will probably end up being better than what it came with at the factory. Once you get it back on, you'll notice a difference compared to when you had it attached on one side only.

I just replaced one on a friends 83 Grand Prix. Parts for 1 side cost less than 5 bucks at the local Carquest auto parts store. No sense waiting to fix it, as the front swaybar links are some of the cheapest parts you can buy for the car. Good luck, Randy

I took care of it a while ago. They had 3 kinds at Canadian Tire. Economy : a pair for $10 CAD, Regular: $11 CAD each, and Heavy Duty: $13 CAD each.

I went with Heavy duty, not taking any chances
