Nice work ! Give yourself a pat on the back from me. I was wondering once you sprayed the motochrome did you have to clear it? I have used that mirra chrome and it is a bit of a pain. Let me know. Thanks.

The instructions recommend putting on a clear coat if the part will see any handling. The best clear coat will reduce reflectivity by about 5%. I elected not to clear.
I can tell you that it is not too durable. I had to wrestle a little with one of the headrests to get it in, and the smooth rounded end of the headrest leg scratched right through the Motochrome down to the black base coat.

    Awesome Nick!
Regarding your chrome piping.... I wonder what would happen if you used a similar style jig to open the tubing and paint the inside of it silver instead of the outside?

I thought about that. Decided against it for two reasons. One, the tubing is a lot thicker that the original stuff, and the chrome would be on the inside, rather than sandwiched in the middle of the clear plastic, like the original. I figured you would not see much chrome. Also, painting this way would be very difficult.
