Does anyone have an exploded view diagram of a 455 engine or a parts list.
I am completely lost as to the detailed parts list.

I'm getting ready to order my Engine kit for rebuild and any advice on the best setup and parts to get for a strong street build would be appreciated. (Tips and Tricks etc..)Motor is a 1971 455 stage 1 with between 30,000 and 40,000 original miles.

Also does the intake gasket set come with a valley pan.

    Thank You very much

Welcome to the board! The valley pan is the intake gasket. There are composite gasket sets avail. in different thicknesses you can use to make up the difference in the gap between the intake & heads when your heads & or block have been milled exsessively. These composite gaskets are also recommended when using alum. heads. I would highly recommend getting a TA catalog. There was a similar build up question like your's on this site not long ago.:TU:
