    Buick Hatchback

Hello. Could you describe these boots in more detail. I occasionally get to a friends old car wrecking yard where he has a 75 or 76 Skylark hatchback. Would this car have the same boots? I may be going there in a few weeks.

    boots on hatchback description

the boots are at the base of the lift poles in the hatch galley, they are about 4-4.5inch long and about 1.5-1.75 inch wide oval and must be poles removed from lid or base to remove them as they look like a shifter boot ribbed like a shift boot and are very thin rubber. most are rotten due to sun rot from back windows. they have phillip screws hold down to quarter plastics and will slide up poles when loose. Keep on look out for 73-74 Apollo/Omega rear rear bumper fillers corner plastic behind bumpers. thanks craig
