I have a friend who has an all origional '65 GS and would like to find out what it is worth. Is there anyone out there in "Our Community" that can fairly and honestly appraise this car. Any contact ifo. would be greatly appreciated, I think the car is in Utah or Montana. Is there any kind of "Registry"?
    Thanks

My '65 GS (auto, manual brakes, steering, tinted glass, no a/c) is all original (#'s matching engine, tranny, rearend, etc.) excluding a recent paint job. The appraiser set the value at 9,500.00. The appraiser stated that, "with a little work, this could be a really nice car." That work is: a new rear seat back cover, package tray, and a reuhpolstered drivers seat.

Other than ther paint job and bumper rechrome the car is all original as my grandmother bought it new and it has never left our family.

If you want to see what kind of shape my ride is in, pics of my car are in the "pre-'68 cars" thread, split between the bottom of page 16 and the top of 17 I believe. Here's a link to the page
