I s the bolt pattern on a Buick the same as on a chevy. A friend has a set if vintage Torque Thruster wheels from his chevelle, can I put them on a 65 Skylark? He'll only have them one more day before he takes them to the swap meet. Thanks for the info....

Both the Chevelle and the Skylark have 4/34 on 5 patterns,so they will fit. Be careful about the back specing though ,as it may cause a problem.

What is that? What do I need to do, check, or fix?

    Thankyou, I'm new at this.

O.K. here is what I know. The rims are 14x7 torque thrusters from the sixties, they have 70 series tires but the dude didn't know exactly what size. I want to put them on a 65 skylark convertible with drum brakes all around. I can measure the backspacing or offset or whatever myself. Can someone tell me what number I need. Do I have any leeway? = or - how much? I'd hate to waste my money on these because I really don't have much left. You guys have been a great source of info, and I appreciate all your time and input. If I ever get my deal straight on this car I'll be sure to return the favor as my knowledge grows.

    Thanks again, Uncle
