Buick Heads On a Small Block Chevy

Ok, why?

Prowling Racingjunk.com,always looking for that elusive 8.5 or a complete Buick 350 (cheap).

They had a high $$ 400 inch chevy with Buick heads on it.

With over a zillion chevy heads available in everything from aluminum, cast iron and unobtainium, why go with the Buick stuff?

Valve angle. They were a different degree. So the port has a straighter shot at the valve.

 

As explained in this quote they are actually pretty cool heads. They are made by Dart, fit a Chevy Small block chevy and use some of the design of the Buick heads.

The seller is asking for $800 for the raw casting of the heads and an intake.

 

Very outdated now....but still clvery capable ....I wouldn't give but MAYBE $1k if they are ready to go with intake and rockers...they would require custom headers also. ANYTHING less than complete ready to go...$500 tops...but honestly no sbc guys mess with them anymore

 

Would have around 4k in getting those ready maybe more
