I see that if you put another kind of an engine in a Buick
looks like you are on the OUTSIDE.

If I had a Buick in Chevy S10 would that get me IN ?

    1970 Stage 1 455.

This was quite a project but no real major problems.

    12.1 @ 113 60 foot 1.6s

I will write a installation discription and some more pix
    if someone is interested.

    northcorner Guess what I'm thinking..

welcome to the club ron. i've got a BBB in a '84 chebby truck. i've wondered if one would fit in an S-10. you seem to have the header problems fixed, and it looks great. i've got a '71 electra motor in a '84 chebby truck. i got lucky and made the hooker super comp. headers fit my application. it's fun to see other guys scratch their heads when they see it  . the only mods to the motor are hooker super comp headers, B4B intake, holley 850 dp, and an old crane cam i bought from J.C. Whitney back in 1988. so far with micket thompson et streets, the best 60' time is 1.68, the best 1/8 mile is 7.71, and the best 1/4 mile is 12.28 @104 mph. my shift point is 5200 rpm (after all this motor is almost 34 years old) it's been a lot of fun making this thing do what it's not supposed to (especially in a truck). it just kills the SBC guys at the track :3gears: . feel free to pm me or email me to talk more. i'm just glad to not be the only one here trying this.
