Yeah, I remember when Quigg & I visited visited Vern some years ago. We all had a long talk about many things in general & then it went onto "NailHeads". We talked for hours. Then he went into his bedroom where from under the bed he pulled out a pair of aluminum "Nail" heads. All 4 of our eyes lit up. Then went on to talk about all the ideas Vern had to make his "Nail" run faster. Then we went outside where he started up the coupe. Was wild then & I'm sure it's still wild now. Looked at MANY of his parts he had stashed away. Another eye opener. I was sad to here about Vern's passing then & more so now that his stash is being sold off piece by piece. Some of it was one off stuff I don't believe ANYONE else had/has. Tom T.
