I've been following this site for sometime now but I can finally register and post because I just got my first Buick. I've been in and out of classic cars for nearly 20 years and I'm just getting my first Buick after a short stint with a serious restoration of 72 VW Beetle (long story, very cool car) but it was time go back to the beginning for me and get a GM A-Body. I just bought a 67 Skylark convertible with 340-4V, A/C, and 59K original miles. Its in great condition but still needs some minor work that will keep me busy but prevent a full-resto which I just completed on the VW. I look forward to driving it and eventually showing it locally and look forward to the great advice the members here seem to offer. I will try to post pix soon. I'm sure I'll have many questions.

hey i am new to this site and i love my buick it was just a car that i picked up out of pheonix. It got shipped all the way from lynch buick! ha ha sweet. well it needs some work. So far it has aluminum intake manafolds, valve covers, 3:40s a turbo 350 but thinking of a 700r4, flomasters, minor body damage, 350. yea it does not sould like much but...i am going to change it into a GSX clone but it is still gunna have the 350w/ the ram air from the gs. spoilers, and interrior will be black with buckest. there is one thing i would like to know...the GSX um......what were the colors? i have seen yellow, i have seen white. But was red a color of the 1970 gsx? i have seen it on a 71 but...please help

    Let me think:

1970 only two colors offered Apollo white and Saturn Yellow

Red was not used until 1971.
