Buick Room

I'm going into to high school so family tradition is to "Re-do" your bedroom. It's my turn now.

The color will be close to buick blue. The same blue found on the 70's era trishield. Trimmed and finished shelves, Framed Buicks, New outlet and fixture covers.(Maybe aluminum.)

Any other ideas for me? Would really like it to be a Kick-A** room. Any body want to see some pics of the before? Anybody have a blue that was a color on a buick car? Thanks

 

Take red, white and blue tube lighting and make the tri-shield design on the wall.

Thanks guys. I need a little help here, have a dilemma.

I am putting shelves up in two corners of my room, about 17 inches from the ceiling, and a shelf directly 10 inches below the first shelf. I will post pics once the camera is charged.

My question is should i do what i've planned first or have one small shelf going all around the room? Like 10-12 inches below the ceiling. I'm kinda thinking of the shelf around the room for reasons to display stuff. I need someone elses input on this. Thanks

 

Today i get to patch every single hole in the wall, and mask everything off. :Brow: I bought all the needed supplies, but might need a quart or two more of paint.
