Buick Shop Manuals

    Hi all , still waiting on the Buick Special from Cali , here is the route so far
    25th Long BEACH CA367.59m
    26th Prescott AZ 703.13m
    27th Amarillo TX 940.88m <-- bet that was a long day behind the wheel :eek:
    28th Henderson, KY 234.10m
    29TH Mt Sterling KY 35 miles
    30th Mt Vernon KY

    Not far now :)
    Anyway anyone had any experience with the Shop Manuals on a CD I've seen on the web (49.95)
    Any recommedations ( besides this great site )

    I like the Detroit Iron Factory Shop Manual i got for my 1968.

    I also have the book version which is kept in trunk.

    I just used Faxon Auto Literature out in CA to get the shop manual (used original), Fisher body manual (reprint) and assembly manual (reprint) for a 1972 Buick Riviera. Good quality stuff, no illegible photocopies. A little pricey but no more so than for the crappy photocpies going as reprints that is out there.
