Buying another item for my Buick so some other things have to go. 1. Buick black Type II shorty console (push button - for 1970 & up - for 4-speed and automatic Skylark/GS/Rivieras) It has a chunk missing from the rear corner. Some hazing and very tiny pits in the chrome lid. The push button lock could use some adjustment. $85 shipped. 2. Buick black Type I shorty console - (Buick emblem for 1965 - 1970 - for 4-speed and automatic Skylark/GS/Rivieras) It has a split down the center with some electric tape over it. Also a tear on the driver's side of the pad (new pads available from The Parts Place). Chrome has some pits. Door opens and closes very nicely. $100 shipped 3. Not off the Buick yet but will be in the next two weeks - a very nice original 1972 Skylark bumper. Chrome shines very nice and no rust. Some scrapes on the very underneath bottom section. Only the bumper - rubber tail light moldings, tail lights, name plate, will be removed. $100 pick up.
Why do you have to be so far away, I could really use that rear bumper!! I know its a stretch, but you wouldnt happen to be coming to Norwalk and tote it there would ya??

Shawn and Mitch - if you guys would be willing to pay for UPS to package and ship the bumper then I wouldn't mind dropping the bumper off at my local center. Shawn would be first in line for this and Mitch second - let me know if any of you guys would want this.
Let me get a quote from UPS and we'll go from there. Any idea on what these weigh? I know it wont be cheap because a set of headers from ohio to washington state boxed and shipped just ran me $83. Im about to toss that post up about somebody hauling it to Norwalk for me, so I'll get with you after I get some idea what I working with. Thanks Chris!

FYI, I just shipped a 71 bumper FED EX and it was $86.00, UPS quote was $485.00 because of oversize dimensions UPS uses a different calculation!!!!!!!!!!! Also pack it very well, I think those guys try and break things on purposeou: Tim

The rest of the bumper is very nice - no usual hazing above the tail light openings, great shine on the chrome, no rust or flaking, etc... For anyone interested, I'm going to start a new for sale thread in a minute as I found some more parts in boxes in the garage which I will be selling.
