I'm looking for some woodgrain transfer for my 96 Century wagon. I was told this was the same woodgrain decal used on the Roadmaster wagon as well. If anyone has any please let me know, Thanks! AL.
I don't have the woodgrain decals, but maybe one of these links can help you: http://www.woodgrain4wagons.com/index.html http://www.stripeman.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=WGD http://www.teamgrandwagoneer.com/parts/Detailed/559.html http://www.flexchrome.com/Products/vinyl.htm http://www.rickwrench.com/wood.html http://woodgraining.com/Patterns/straightgrain.html Adding the decals yourself: http://www.drama.uwaterloo.ca/WOODGRAINING TECHNIQUES 05.htm http://clubs.hemmings.com/clubsites/goldcoastmodela/techtips/Woodgraining_1.html http://clubs.hemmings.com/clubsites/goldcoastmodela/techtips/Woodgraining_2.html http://clubs.hemmings.com/clubsites/goldcoastmodela/techtips/Woodgraining_3.html
Wow! you have done some home work!! :Smarty: I forwarded an e-mail to Woodgrain 4 Wagons, Thanks!! :TU: AL.
I'm looking to replace the section on the liftgate because of some poorly done body work done before I bought her. I will do some measuring. Did GM discontinue this material? Do you know of a part number? I have a contact at a Buick dealer that can do dealer searches, Thanks! AL. :TU:
GM no longer carries the vinyl, but 3M still makes it. Go to a local sign supply house and you should be able to order it. It's called "Burma Teak". (You may want to bring along a small sample with you if you can take it off the inside of a doorjam or something They also make a "Cheyanne Teak" that's not the same.) -Scott
