Jim, I saw the thread on the poster and I thought of some pictures I had. This is the only one I could find. I took this at the 72 NHRA World Finals in Amarillo. We had Stock/Super Stock Chevies then but, I always admired Dave Benisck and his Buicks. Wished I hadn't waited so long to get a Buick. Sorry about the picture quality.
man, that is awesome.... I have the NHRA program for that event with some pic's, but not that exact picture... how can I get it?? it doesn't surprise me that the car is so dirty, they drove it to every event, and switched tires when they got there. I don't recall Dave saying it was ever towed anywhere. Jim
