87 GNX —46K (no reserve)
66 Riviera GS —11K (no reserve)
63 Riviera — 20K
I'll be there tomorrow...
1969 Riv went for 19k. I BELIEVE Mecum posts prices with fees.
The prices I posted do not include fees and commissions.
Hope the GNX was high mileage for that price. No reserve that explains it stupid.
Looks like just under 43k miles. Anybody know why in the description it would say: "Must be sold to an out of state resident or licensed dealer"?
It will show up at another auction for 80 K plus
I asked myself the same question. My guess is that otherwise there is an adverse state tax consequence for the seller.
I did a little research. Otherwise, the seller or maybe the auction house must collect the sales tax from the purchaser and pay the appropriate taxing California entities.
Scott Hoke on the '63: "first year Riviera, Wildcat 455 engine, 3 speed automatic....."
The 29 roadster sold.
