20240406_114319.jpg I did some walking around today at the AACA show field and some of the Clubs gahered there.

I am sad to report that I believe that this event is on life support at this venue. The Hornets Nest Region of the AACA and the Speedway's contract runs out in 2026. The foot traffic and vendors are less every year. I'm hoping that I am wrong, time will tell. 20240406_114726.jpg 20240406_114645.jpg 20240406_114558.jpg

    I really like this Buick.
Looks like a cranberry color, never seen this color on a Buick.
Please correct if I'am wrong. Vet

Burgundy mist....regular production color across the GM line

My brother had a Chevelle in burgundy mist with a white interior. It was an unusual color that you rarely saw.

Beautiful? Yes. 1970 GM Factory color? No. Maybe, with pearl added? Doubt it though.

More probably the purple on this Prowler or something similar...

Looks to be John Looney's Stage 1 restoration

Sure would be nice if some of those cars would make it to the GS Nationals. Hopefully now with a little more emphasis being put on the show, that'll happen in due time.

That car is Looney's. Looks much better in person, it is that nice of a restoration.
