So here's an abbreviated build thread for taulbs wedding cake topper. Started life as a gsx (anyone ever hear of someone who took an "original GSX" and turned it into a Hunter green GS with black vinyl top? Well now you have!!) Then disassembled, cut off the spoiler and filled the holes, scuffed and primed. Then reduced down some code 48 Hunter Green Poly and sprayed it with an airbrush. After that, the "vinyl top" was applied (plastidip and a sponge for texture) and it was reassembled. Redid the marker and headlights with a paint pen and she was ready to go! And full disclosure, it was all Mrs. Taulbees idea. She came to me asking if I could come up with something. She got the ball rolling, I just executed. She's that kinda cool lady.
more pictures of buicks in weddings.....my buddy got married and we supplied a couple buicks...our main street was undergoing some repairs outside the reception hall.
I must have missed this one...Congrats Justin. Nice pics of the wedding. I'm going on 24 years now with the same woman.....and still have my Buick. Wish you the same....just hope you like riding a roller coaster....
Geri and I recently celebrated our 3rd Wedding Anniversary. We drove around in our 1986 Buick Grand National on our wedding day. Here are a few pictures taken on August 15, 2015. Nando.
I thought I had posted some of my wedding car shots...guess not, so here they are. Coming up on 2 years September 4th!
