    Hello John,

Welcome. Good to see another '64 owner join up. I am sure you will really enjoy your 64, they are great cars. I have had mine only 11 months, and enjoy mine a lot. Lots of helpful, very knowledgeable people on the board. Fill us in on your plans and post some pictures when you can. Best wishes.

    Michael

thanks for the welcome guys, im in Keizer, its a suburb of salem. ill post some pics tonight, i picked up a set of keystone klassics on craigslist for 50 in GREAT shape. thin white walls, eventually bag it, but lower it. gonna flake, pattern and lace the roof. she was a mess when i got her, but shes starting to come together now slowly. it only takes :dollar:.
    thanks again for the welcome

Great project! I suggest a Buick 350 and 2004R trans swap. Good luck with what ever you decide to do!

it came with a 1971 350/350 tranny. unburied everything, thats what the floor looked like. wire wheeled it clean and sprayed a rubber coating on the floor, pretty stoked how it turned out.

I'm loving the pics, man, straight, rust free body panels is what it looks like to me, what a great foundation. Let's you and me try to get our 64's running before the clock strikes 2013, what ya say?

Welcome aboard! :beer You've got one of the best body styles ever built, but I'm somewhat biased. Nice to see a solid body with clean floor pans.:TU:
