Well for those that wanted to see one here it is.Dick Bradshaw delivered this to my house today. So to all the S#!t talkers he is definately trying to get this done. This block nor is the other block that was delivered a show peice other than in a car.The first one WILL BE RUNNING BY THE NATS in may.Mine sometime later in the summer depending on the cranks. For those intersted in the large journal cams I will have progress starting next week after I deliver the block to them.So please give me a call next week and I'll fill you in on the outlook and any issues we might have. 708-756-7747
WOW thats some photoshop program you got. Some one might think that that bulldog block actually exists . Nice camera work. :Brow: :beer
Thats what I'm thinking Tim. There is some really interesting photos out there of these show pieces. I wish the people that "could" post would. It would help stop some of the badmouthin that happens in situations like this. But honestly I find it a ton more logical to not say anything anymore. As soon as you state anything about it, there are a hundred people that will come in and find a twist to bash the situation. For you guys that have them and choose to not say anything, I commend you whole heartedly. Don't say anything. Kevin, considering what I just said above, you got some sack to come on here with these pix. But you did, and I am impressed by that. Now just hide it away in your skunkworks dept. and get to work on our car. That pooch motor you got going together will be impressive enough I have a feeling. Now get to work and try and let me know when your gonna try and break this new block. I'd like to be there to watch it run.
LOL No just a mock up block it's just a tool nothing else. Doug not an overhead cam buick.I ordered it with out lifter bores I will have them drilled next week I'm adjusting a few things
Geez, the first person to deliver good news and the pictures to prove it instead of hot air has "sack?" Best of luck with it and I hope you will continue sharing as things progress with your build. The more people that post showing their parts-in-hand the less reason anyone would have to say anything negative.
Where did you get that stock 455, the bottom of Lake Michigan? nah, can't be. it's only got two bolt mains. :Brow:
Was there a repair done on that block in the first and last picure down by the pan rail under the freeze plug?
Hey Kevin, Thanks for posting the pics!!! I am extremely happy for you guys  If it isn't a problem please keep us informed on your progress of putting this thing together!!! No go out and celebrate :beer or :3gears: Later
Thanks John We are the ginea pigs. From the past 3 days of looking at,measuring, and general ciphering on the block. We have a very good piece here.It is well worth the wait. There are a few very small issues we have found but nothing major. The guys following us will have these issues fixed. I was hoping to have this done by late summer but there is going to be alot of custom made stuff needed to complete my combo. The only thing off the shelf will be the front cover and heads the rest for now will be one off.Now Bobbs motor is closer to a standard buick. We will keep you upfront if we have any major issues. No celebrating wayyyyyyy to much work to do but the motivation is at a all time high.
Sure dont have to ask "where's the BEEF"!!!! Nice....looks really wild w/o the lifter bores machined.
