Does anyone know the correct color for the lugwrench/jack handle for a 1967 GS400 (figure it would be the same for skylarks/specials). I thought mine were original and the handle is greyish-blue along with the part of the jack that fits against the bumper. It sure looks original :Do No:

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

Never had a 67, but all the 68-70 I've seen were semi-gloss black. What is the little blue tag on the rachet mechanism?

    Good Eye, Nick!

The little blue tag appears to be a part number tag. It has "1372499" written on it twice. ??? Here is a picture.

the jack looks like the one for my 70. i have a silver lift shaft and a black mechnism and my tire iron is missing. the blue sticker looks like it could be a service replacement jack. and may also explain the color change.

I recently sold a 67 Skylark with 41,000 original miles, and have two GS-340's, one of which I've had since new. All three jacks had black mechanisms, bases and lug wrenches. The jack shafts were silver and the bumper hooks are gray. I never saw or remember any of them having a sticker like the one you have.
