Looked pretty cool. I remember breifly playing one of the older burnout games and crashing cars alot. Does anyone own this game? Any experiences, good or bad? Its supposed to have 70 vehicles including some American Muscle cars. Im thinking about getting it but GTA Sand Andreas is coming out on the 26th so i would feel weird buying two games ten days apart from each other. Whats your thoughts? :Do No:

Bought it (for my little brother's birthday) for xbox and I got a chance to play it for awhile after one of his 8 hour gaming sessions with his friend. They don't have any "named" cars since they don't want to bother with licensing anything though some of the cars look like real life cars and a few others look like they took parts from assorted muscle cars and threw them togethor. Tons of levels, tons of cars, plays pretty well, and more than a few "features" that I'm still trying to figure out. If you have the money, get them both as each have a pretty different theme and you'll have a few months of gameplay to get through.

I rented it for Playstation 2 (for my 8 year old-yeah right..) and it is by far the BEST action-driving game I have ever played. Great graphics and fantastic control. The crashes are awesome! I have Burnout 1 and 2 and thought they were good-this one is fantastic. Many types of cars can be won from tuners to muscle to trucks (for crashing). My favorite is the "modified muscle". It looks like a 68 Shelby with a blower through the hood. The sound effects on this car quite realistic- you can even hear the shifts. I feel like Steve McQueen in Bullet when I drive this car. I am definetely going to buy it (I've rented it twice since....). The only annoyance was the "DJ" commentary that I quickly turned off.

I own Burnout 3 and have achieved 100%. This game is absolutely AMAZING!!! Road Rage is the coolest feature in this game. Crash Mode in this game is also a heck of a lot better than previous Burnouts. I really like the fact that you can use REALLY REALLY big vehicles in crash mode. (Bus, Semi-truck, FIRE TRUCK!!!) Its nuts and very addicting. Be prepared to spend hours at a time in front of your PS2/X-BOX.

It is awesome. On career you drive these open wheel cars at about 140mph. Fun. Then you can move onto the Craftsman Truck series. Nascar and then The nextel cup series. The game is crazy. You can make an ally or rival. Share the drift and make and ally, nudge the rear quarter panel enough and make a rival. :Brow: Im only at the open wheel racers part but i have and contract pending for the Craftsman Truck series. I have qualified pole position for 8 out of ten races! Then you can go to "happy hour" and practice while some other racers do the same. Very Realistic game and great graphics. The races usually are only 12 laps so far and only 8 for the difficult courses with sharp turns, and deacceleration points. Also if you happen to spin another opponent out after the race there are clips of you at your garage, and the opponent walking up. One clip had a member of my pit crew holding a driver back. Overall its a great game. Did i mention you can own your own teams in all 4 series? :Brow: Also you can buy sponsers, and production cars mainl Dodges and Fords. I dont know where to go from here but it is an Awesome game in all aspects. I wasnt't dissapointed.

I like the IHRA Drag Racing games by Bethesda. Has a lot of old cars, some new, and some pro cars. One problem is I can't break into the fives with my Buick engine. Thats right, Buick engine, they have about every one imaginable.
