got back from lebanon valley swap meet this afternoon and have a question - guy had a table full of v6 stuff - wasted his ice racing v6 (???) after only half a race . had 3 oliver rods with JE pistons left in usable condition , intake , champion heads with rollers and valve covers , new moroso long neck water pump and a v6 dry sump oiling system ( weaver i think out of carson city nevada ) with extra front cover , looked like it needed a little tlc but apparently had all brackets , pulleys , crank pulley adapter , oil pan ( windage damaged by rods ) , and he is fairly close by . i am mainly thinking that the dry sump may be usable on a 350 . the water pump should be usable . rods/pistons ?? would have to make up an oil pan using the v6 pan as a guide/parts donor . value ??? worthwhile project ?? or a waste of time ?? thanks for any input . del

    del,
we were up there and i must have missed that. don't know about those parts fitting 350's. we did buy a v6 k/b intake for john hawk and i got 2 frt skinnies for my lark. we almost bought the front engine drgstr that was there. went back to talk more and he just sold it. but the guy is interested in selling just the chassis for 500 more. we may sell the hawk or lark to buy it???

john : i try and make it up there 2-3 times a year and we go to albany once in awhile also - we are about 1.5 hrs sothwest . i try and go to the track at least in sept for nostalgia racin'/swap/show and this last weekend . i was the one wanderin' around with the orange hemi hat and red dolly with the blue gm parts tote bingee'd to it buyin' small block chevy intakes ( to resell not use ). i've got some 455 parts ( new kb cam,trw timing set,oem style water pump, oil pan/scraper , 70 heads that are done ) and a nailhead/trans set-up that would be better in the bank than layin in my garage in case ya need anything . got an edelbrock v6 intake also . i'm lookin for 350 parts in case ya' got some . i was just thinkin' that you're close enough to save shipping possibly . thanks for the reply . too bad it rained a little sunday the day started out nice and there seem'd to be alot more people/sellers there ???? . del
