- Power Window setup with plugs and leads, wires cut close to plugs. with 71-72 switches. Motors and regulators work great been out of a car since 1981. is this from a 70-72 BUICK Skylark? Is it everything needed to convert to PW?
Yes power windows are complete, except for the wiring harness. Someone cut the end plugs that connect to the switches and motors are there with 6 inches of wiring on each plug end. I think someone makes an aftermarket harness for power windows in a GM A body, if not you can probably make it yourself. It is out of a 71 Monte Carlo, but exaclty the same as 70- 72 skylark, and probably 68-69 as well
Monte Carlo had a different rear window set up and it might not be the same as the other GM a bodies that share the roof line with the GS . John
thanks John, I was wondering about that, especially since I would be installing into the vert. I would like to know for sure if the regulators would work for the vert rear windows?
before i got the setup, i checked the part numbers, and i believe they matched the buick setup, i will check today or tomarrow and post a couple of pics up as well.
I appreciate the effort. The application is the 70 convertible skylark. Please verify that it is correct. MarkO
http://s130.photobucket.com/albums/p278/cdr2/ hear are some pics of the power window setup and the steering wheel as requested pretty sure, but not confirmed that the window setup is the same as a skylark. Steering wheel needs to be cleaned up, which i will give a quick clean, but does have scratches around the outside edge of the wheel as shown in the pics. No cracks at all though.
