i have a newer buick 350 from an 85 buick lesabre i think. i am putting it in a jeep and i dont want the electrical and all the smog stuff i just want the basic stuff that it needs to run. do i need to get a new carburetor and intake manifold or can i work with what i got?

  2. In a 1985 car, it would not be a Buick engine, unless someone had transplanted it there at some point. No Buick 350's after 1980.

Dave, sorry to get off subject, but what was the last car that came with a 350?

If you goto autozone.com and put in the different car models. It will show you the engine choices and a % of users with that engine.

But that last year 80 350X is one nice motor. It got some of the best parts of any year 350 just low on compression. Easily fixed.
