The service manual shows MB and MC for Sportwagons, then LA, LB, LC, LD for all other models. Does it make sense that if Fremont wasn't building wagons that the L was assumed? I'm thinking that this is a 3.23 open diff, built 1-29-65. Any other opinions? I'll go pick up the car and confirm the ratio/open pieces. Thanks. Loren
