O.K. this is the second time, same C-clip eliminator leaking. First time I separated the two parts, and sealed with RTV. Now when the car sits after a few weeks, starts leaking again. How can I correct the problem to prevent further leakage. I've been told there are two types of C-clip eliminator kits, a good one and a better one. Your thoughts please. Going racing Friday evening. Thanks in advance as always.

Some guys say they will always leak a little and some guys say they have never had a problem. Do you have a nick or something on the flange that is keeping the c-clip block from making a good seal? Maybe next time you have it apart take a die grinder to the flange and maybe it will help.

Today, I took everything apart, pulled the axle etc. I cleaned all surfaces, there basically are three sealing serfaces, and stuck it back together. The surfaces are prestine, no scratches etc. Soooooooo, we will see what we will see. It just irks me that we can't get something for good money that works properly. Thanks for your advice.
