I may be needing some help this coming up weekend installing my new cam because I don't have the slightest clue as to what I'm doing(ok, maybe a little, but supervision is always good),I also need help degreeing the cam,I'm waiting for the cam, lifters, and pushrods to come in from Postons, after I get the cam put in I have to put the heads, intake, and carb back on and start it up.
    Any help is appreciated!!
    Thanks,
    Philip

To degree your cam you will have to find top dead center on #1 piston. You need some sort of a piston stop to do this. You also need a degree wheel to read crank shaft rotation versus lobe travel. It is very easy to do if you are familiar with reading dial indicators and can do simple math. There are some tutorials out there that might be a big help if you have never done it. Mike D.
