If a 70 skylark floor shift console and a floor shift column will fit a 72 skylark and if not what is the differences? Thank you :beer Chip
Chip, The Only difference (cosmetically)is that 70 GS 's had a woodgrain handle and the others(71-72 and 69 for that matter) had black handles.There may be a length difference on the shifter cables between a TH-350 and a TH-400 tranny though.Also,the mounting bracket that mounts the cable to the tranny probably is different too. Pat P.s. No cutting has been done to the post car as of yet!
Thanks Pat, I tried to see what the console looks like in the 72 buick manual but all that it shows is the shifter hookup and linkage no pics of the interior showing the seats and console. Does anybody have a pic of there car with this setup so I can get an idea of what it looks like? Thank you in advance, Chip
