I'm thinking of ditching my land line and just having a cell phone. I am hardly at home and all I ever get is wrong #'s and hang ups. All my friends call me on the cell. I currently have a prepaid Virgin Cell phone and its costing me $60 a month. I only need about 500 minutes. What companies do you guys recommend? I'm open to anything except Verizon.
I find pre-pay is the cheapest and easiest route for me. I can buy $10 [ which usually gets you $20] worth of minutes and it ends up cheaper than a monthly bill. But when it comes to regular monthly bills its best to find a unlimited plan. As everyone goes over their limit sooner or later and it hurts bad in the wallet. Cricket here in Toledo has an unlimited $30 plan with a 2nd phone for $20 more. A buddy uses it and is very happy.
