Can I mix a new Sanden compressor & aftermarket condensor w/ my oem evaporator, etc?

My 72 GS has factory A/C, but the oem compressor, condensor, and dryer are toast. I like the look of the new style Sanden 508 (from Hot Rod Air, etc). Hot Rod Air also sells a nice assortment of dryers and condensors. Could I mix the new with the old? What about the hose connections, etc.
I had the dash apart last year, and went through all the air doors, gaskets, vacuum dashpots/lines, etc. So, I think I am in good shape under there.
btw, the heater works fine, but down here in Mississippi, A/C is much more desireable.
    Thoughts?

Yes, you can do that. Just keep the POA valve in the system, IMHO.
You will have to have new lines made up to connect the new compressor, dryer, etc. to the original system, most likely from the POA\TXV outward. The Sanden 508 is a good compressor for a modified setup and you will need to adjust the POA for R134a.
