I know vinyl dashes can be colored but can the hard plastic kick panels on the bottom of the door panels be colored? If so how?

    Thanks

You need to get spraypaint that's made for plastic and make sure you clean them well with isopropyl alchohol.

If you want to follow GM service bullettin factory directions they should be painted with interior lacquer. I have the bulletin and for the kick-panels and other plastics called polypropelene plastic which have a greasy feel they need to be primed with a plastic primer after cleaning like crazy. Other hard or ABS plastics can be sprayed without the primer. I have used the GM factory method with excellent results. Tower PAint can mix the factory lacquer in spray cans. The dye method probably works as well but I had success with this method.

Yea this stuff. Is this the stuff... I dont see the word Dye used anywhere on their site but... this seems to be it.. .please correct me I dont want the wrong stuff. I may call the rep on Mon.. The carpet is what I want to adjust the color on. The hard plastic is fine, I considered doing a whole color change on the interior but.. I guess greeen can work...
