Does anyone have a source for these nuts. They are used to mount the trunk molding and the GS400 badges on a '67. I tried AMK and they're listed in their catalog, but they don't have them. I believe they are #10x 7/16" thread cutting stamped nuts. Any help would be appreciated.

I found six of them in my nut and bolt cache!
$100 each! Just kidding! Free for postage.
PM me with address if you want.
However, the reason I have these is in my experience with prior 67,
is that they didn't hold well enough on a the used molding prongs.
So I went to Lowes or Home Depot and found some similar course
threaded capped nuts, experimented to get the right size and used
them along with a washer or two. Was careful not to over torque and break.
But if you a purist and must have stock they are yours.

Thanks for the offer Roger. I have all the nuts I took off my car( I think ). I'm trying to find some new ones if possible.

Give McMaster-Carr a shot. It's amazing what they have available.

    Good Luck,

Good luck, after looking more closely, the ones I have are smaller
anyway. Not sure where they would be used, maybe emblems or
hood letters. Maybe you can just paint the ones you have to make
    them look new?

    otter It'll be done someday.

Was just sorting the ones I have as I put trim back on, there are a couple that look the same but the ones with a smaller hole were for the B-U-I-C-K emblems and the ones with bigger holes were for the chrome(actually stainless steel) trim. You're right they almost look identical but there is definitely a diff in hole size.
