So what California Car Cover P/N are you using? I'm looking for the good padded type like the Noah for outdoor use but mainly using it inside for protection from accidental dings.

For my '69 GS I bought the size recommended Covercraft C79GK and it fit badly and was way too big. Looked more like it was cut to fit a 4 door. Then I tried a C1152 which is listed for a '69 Chevelle. You would think they would be very close. Wrong, it was too tight on the GS but it looked like it had all the contours right. If you guys are using them on a '70 GS size then it should fit the '69 GS.

I don’t use any covers now. I used to but there were always people over who wanted to see the cars and then that was a hassle. They do get dusty without a cover though so maybe I’ll go back to them. If I get a new one it would probably be a Covercraft.

Follow up: the in-line tube cover is working well - no tears and its been on and off several times in the last month. One man job too.

Dec 2019 - I've got another one on the wagon under my carport. It has held up well. It did blow off during a storm w/ 40 mph winds, but it did not tear and I just put it back on. The covers have gotten dirty on the outside but kept the car clean. Cat puke did not melt through....

    Good point!
If the paint is still fresh..... less than 2 months old, I WOULD NOT cover it, nor wax it!
Just park it clean and dry:cool:
