Ok guys, I could use some good input on the subject. I've had a couple shipped in the past, but both were 'nice' cars that needed to be 'enclosed'. Looks like I will finalize another tomorrow and it can be transported (Florida/Texas) on an open carrier. This time I'm looking for recomendations from someone with experience on the least expensve source (with decent service). Any thoughts?

    Mickey,

68lesabre4dr had a Skylark recently shipped and was very happy with the service. Look at his thread in the Buyer/ Seller feedback section.

    Mickey,

I bought a nice low miles 72 Sklark Custom last week, along with an 87 Turbo T-Type Buick. Toy box is kinda full for awhile:Dou:

Guess I can call off the dogs now. It finally occured to me to contact a small local transport terminal where I had picked up a shipped car a couple of years ago. They made some calls to their 'contacts' and to my surprise they got a 'door-to-door' commitment for $650...and, it's a carrier they trust and use often. I'm good with that. Thanks again for thoughts.....
