I have sold my 68 Camaro with RS options to an individual in North Carloina, 40 miles south of Winston-Salem. Does anyone know of a reliable transporter this time of year? I am in SW Michigan and I am trying to help the new/proud owner out. Anyone heading South with an empty trailer? I did not know where to post this ad so contact me if you can assist. My 72 Stage 1 convt. is oh so close to completion. I cannot wait for Spring of 2007. Thanks, Upstaged
Upstaged,.....Have I got the guys for you!! Call Brian Luther and his driver Bob, they have LUTHER'S AUTO TRANSPORT from Menasha Wisconsin. They loaded up the GS today and are delivering it to the new owner in Arizona. They have quality equipment and really care about their cargo. Their number is 877-205-7833. Today is the first time I met them and I got a very good impression. Their email is luthersautotrans@aol.com I have enclosed a photo of their hauler. If you contact them, tell them I told you to call, they will remember me as the guy with the white GS. Good Luck, John
Transport Co Last March, R. Brehmer safely transported my Black 67 Special from Fountain Hills, AZ to Illinois. His number is 507 254-1528. Please mention my name (Norm) and the above info. He did a great job. If he isn't available, call Carol (broker) at C.C. Ryder. She can get someone to move the car. Please mention Norm, Toyota and Fountain HIlls, AZ to her. This way, you will not pay snowbird prices. She has always (3x's) beat any price I could come up with. However, do your homework. You can save up to $300-400. Norm :Brow:
Jerry Austin Jerry Austin, Austin Trucking. Privately owned, insured. Jerry is located in SW Michigan 269-587-0143 Jerry has hauled several vehicle's for me, and he just got back from hauling my old 65 Special down to Topeka KS. for another board member. He's hauled a few car's for other board member's as well, everyone has been happy with him. He has both open and enclosed trailer's.
jim guinn transport. 1-940-389-8997 jim's a car guy and will haul yours like it's his own. he does haul on an open trailer so if that's an issue you know it up front. he'll haul anywhere in the U.S. as long as you work with his schedule. if he's running behind, he calls his communication is the best of any transporter i've used. his rates are reasonable, but i'll not disclose what he's charged me on a public forum. rates fluctuate with fuel costs, we all know that. he bases his milage off of mapquest and provides a copy of his route. i've used jim in the past and will again in the future if i don't haul it myself. mike
Tie Downs Kieth, as you know the front fender on many Buicks mainly the 70-72 Skylarks is close and I've seen on some cases the frame being tied down pulls the frame and closes the gap on the front door then if the door is open the door may hit the fender. When the wheel is straped down this lessins the stress on the the frame and the body, AL. :Smarty:
