Wow, seems nothing is ever easy. I was looking at bending up my fuel pump to carb fuel line for my ragtop, got the worst done (the bottom bends by the pump itself are brutal)...

Anyway, the clip I have for the 72 455 fuel line sits at a 45 degree angle off the waterpump, set there by bent in tabs. That does not match my 71 Stage 1 (straight out) so i did some digging. Turns out the 71 and 72 fuel lines are routed differently, so my question is does anyone have a decent picture of an untouched line installed on their 72 455?? All I have is an assembly manual and its not much help other than there appear to be about a thousand bends.

Also, was there a reason they actually changed this?? To clear the smog pump or something??

The repro lines for 70-72 are all the same so no help there. They look to go pretty much straight up and then do a 45 degree bend in towards the carb...

    Thanks
    Tim
