need some info to help narrow down the problem; 1, what is the timing and dwell at idle. 2, what is the timing at 2500rpm. 3, what is the vacumn reading at idle. 4, when looking down the carb at idle (safety glasses) is there fuel dripping out of the primary venturi's, you may need a flashlight to see. 5, with the car shut off, have someone sit in the drivers seat and step on the gas pedal to the floor while you look down the carb. both the primary and secondary throttle blades should be open fully. the carb operates off signals it gets from the engine, so to be able to find the problem we have to determine if the carb is getting the proper signals. you will need a vacumn gauge, dwell meter and a timing light with a dial advance to do these checks. good luck
