Did Buick have Holley Carbs as an option?
The Buick I bought has what i think is a 600cfm carb on it and was wondering it that was an option for 1970, or if it was just an aftermket carb? I rebuilt the carb and still can seem to get an idle out f it:af:
I replaced everything (gaskets ect.) the only thing I didn,t mess with was the floats. My cousin was helping me and said they where in good shape so I didn,t even question it.
I will be severly upset with myself if that is the problem and I could have fixed it right then.
I know you guys can point me in the right direction.
    thank you Eric

    By the way,
The carb does work, it just wont keep an idle!
when you start it up it has a high idle but when it gets warm the car will puke out if you dont keep feeding it gas:mad:
I want to take her out for her madien voyage (for me that is)
the car has been sitting for around 15 years....
Is there anyone who has a set of headers for a 1970 buick 350 that they have just sitting around that are just taking up space?
I kind of doubt it but it never hurts to ask:Brow: lol
The headers that are on the car are rotted out at the collector and sounds terrible!!!!!!!
Can you order just the Collectors and weld them in place of the old? Thanks Eric

I don't think that Holley's were an option, but I don't know everything:Dou: .... Although, buick did have a Qjet 750 stock on all the 350's I have seen, So I'd think the 600 would be a little small. But should still idle with that carb, unless something is messed up with it:Do No:

I think for the Stage 2 parts a Holley was part of the package.
