Looked on summit's site and can't seem t find one.

Anyone know where I could get a 1 inch spacer for a qjet on a stock 71 engine ?

mr gasket makes a good phenolic one, i bought mine from summit.

the studs it comes with are trash, though, be sure to throw them away.:blast:

cray1801 Too much is just right.

Be aware, sometimes when you order a spacer it does not match with your carb.! I have a `72 Q-Jet 800 cfm and the spacer I ordered from Jegs was wrong. The part number was 0510108-37, it was $30.99 plus 7.99 for package/handling. I ended up scribing the correct larger secondary holes and routing it out to match. Of course now I cant use it with the SP-1 due to hood clearance :ball: .

Anyone willing to trade my stock Skylark hood for a 2" cowl VFN?

    Regarding the Studs.

What would you recommend using instead ?

i just used grade 8 bolts from pep boys. (2-3 bucks)

maybe you'll have better luck, the studs it came with were too short...didn't thread into the manifold any decent amount if you wanted to get the nut on all the way. and then when i tightened the nuts they just stripped out.
