I'm seeing the same cars listed at least twice, sometimes more often on Ebay. Are there that many deadbeat bidders out there? I thought bidding on something was a contract.

Unfortunately, there are alot of deadbeat bidders on eBay, and there's not much you (as a seller) can do about it, except get your fee's refunded.

    Also..
When I see a car listed ALOT of times, I figure there might be some other reasons:
1- The seller keeps changing his mind whether he wants to sell or not
2- The seller is having friends "shill bid" the auction up, and then one of his friends ends up winning on accident.
3- The sale went through, but the buyer actually sees the car for the first time when he goes to pick it up and it's real P.O.S. so he backs out of the deal.
4- The sale actually goes through, and the new owner tries to sell it immediately for a profit.

Once I see a car listed (and "sold") more than twice, I'd stay away from it. Something's probably up.

    Deadbeats

Carl Deadbeats are out there and they think its a game, I have had my fill of them on there, some guys bid because they know the other bidder and want to out do them and then say the hell with it and never Email or nothing, or they have had a run in with someone and want to screw them around and bid real high so they win forsure but never Pay, and all you can do is give them a bad feedback, when they get so many bad ones they change there Ebay registration and start all over again, so keep in contact with the people bidding, but usally its the last real high bid that you can't do that with, I have had 2 in the last month and have never had a problem before, and one was for a losey 16.00 the other was for 90.00, I would leave there email names but I will let it rest to much aggravation :af: Dan, they are not board members so thats good, they are worthless Deadbeats thats all, and this is for them:moonu:

    Isn't That Fraud?

I thought ebay was supposed to enforce the rules or at least pursue the deadbeats. If nothing happens to the deadbeats, then won't sellers stop using ebay?

I have pretty much give up on bidding on things on E-bay, If it don't have a buy it now deal I don't even try, I am sick of loosing things in the last minute when I bid as high as I will go and nothing happens for days on it and loose it for 50 cents. I put a bid in for a CPU for a computer I am trying to fix and lost it last minute, the next day a better one showed up and I got it with buy it now for $5 less than my bid on the other one. Sorry to ramble on kinda off subject and I now that is how auctions work but I won't get into bidding war when I have know idea who I am against and I won't go over a set amount on things anyway.
