Ok. I have factory exhaust manifolds marked as B-1246671-3, B-1238094, 1383648, 1233451, and 1383648. I know that they "originally" did not come from GS or a staged cars, probably a 71 Riv., 70 estate wagon, and 71 estate wagon. Moparharn posted a want add for the 1238094 exhaust manifold for a 70 staged. WolverineMW PM'd me and said "passenger side 70 Stage 1 is L-1233451 and R-1238094." Does anyone know if the manifolds I have and the staged manifolds are "technically" the same manifold? Trying to help a board member out. Thanks, Phil
Stage 1 manifolds are no different from any other manifold. Same manifold and same casting number as any other same year 455.
I thought that was the case. Thanks for confirming it. So then what are the casting numbers for the 1970 exhaust manifolds? "WolverineMW" says that the numbers are (R) 1233451 & (L)1238094 "Moparharn" seems to confirm that 1238094 is the (R) side manifold. "4 on the floor" says his has 1233899 & 1383648 There seems to be some conflicting information regarding which exhaust manifolds were on the 70. o No: Thanks again
1238094 70-73 455 V8 right side, sup. 1383648 1233451 70-73 455 V8 left side, sup. 1233899 GM parts book I have published in '81.
