Castrol Dextron 3/Mercon

    I found my '72 TH400 to be about a 1qt. low. Is it ok to add the Castrol Dextron 3/Mercon to top it off? I originally bought the fluid to use in a '93 Ford.

    Yes, Dexron 3 will work.
