Cell Service at Quaker?

I was debating whether or not to bring FRS radios (anyone considering these?). I'd rather not carry yet something else if I don't need to and can get by with a cell phone. For those that have been to Quaker, is there a decent cell signal there? I have Verizon, if that matters.

I'm wondering the same thing with Nextel. You either have service, or you don't with those guys.

 

I just talked to Cole Smith at the Red Roof inn in Salem on his cell.. connection was clear as a bell.

At the track....in the staging lanes the signal is great....in the pit area, sometimes it is and sometimes it leaves room for improvement. Seems if you walk around you will find a good signal somewhere though

For what it's worth, I have AT&T, and as JW mentioned, I have a strong signal. I am, however, in "extended area" with AT&T.
