This is a long shot, but has anyone had experience with machine shops in Columbus Ohio?

I have a few Buick 455s and would like to start by sonic testing them to see if I have a good candidate for a performance build.

    Thank you

Not in Columbus but if you don’t find anyone near you Michaels Racing Engines in Macedonia Ohio is very familiar with Buick engines, he’s done quite a few for GSCA members, also mine and Foxes den.

I've heard of Gambles Performance. I was just hoping for something a little closer. I had been going to Performance Research but the owner had passed away a few years ago. His son took over and I doubt he has any Buick knowledge.

A good builder can build anything...give him a chance...younger minds are more open to change

True, kind of like a doctor, I like younger doctors, they’re up on the latest least invasive procedures.

Want to add that a younger machinist usually is not “set in their ways” like a lot of older machinists that do more non Buick stuff and are convinced to “machine it like a Chevy”

Back to the drawing board. I was informed my local machine shop doesn't offer sonic testing.
