Its all good andy, the 73 2 door is my favorite next to the 70 GS-350 of course but I have yet to find my 73 2 door..... Did just buy a 73 4 door, close but not quite my dream car.... I cant NOT buy any 73-77 Century/regals I find in good shape though....
My first new car was a 1977 Buick Century, $6435 out the door The day my mom and Dad picked up their new Regal I ordered my Century. Black with white bucket seat interior and T -tops. In the day everyone else had the Cutlass's and 442's. Mine was unique. I sold it several years later and the guy I sold it to still has it. He put a big block motor in it. I should go buy it back... I do have a 1976 Century pace car replica with 38,000 miles on. I also have a lead on a 1976 Regal one owner car. Black on black bench seat, ralley wheels, original owner. I talked to the guy that is selling it for his aunt, she bought it new and she is now 85 years old. He wants $4,000 for it and it has 55,000 miles on it. The only thing done to the car was a replacement of the Landau roof. I'm waiting for pictures.
Here's a couple of shots of my 455 powered '76 Century Special down at Bowling Green. I added the Pace Car spoiler, sport mirrors, bucket seats and auto on the floor in the last year. I would have loved to get my hands on a T-top car. The only problem with the '73-'77's is the weight. Mine weighs 4000 lbs and the earlier ones probably weigh more.
What model year is it then, according to you? I got the original folder saying its a '76. And yeah, it's a century custom.   By the way, does any of the 'dutchies' have some spare parts he wants to get rid off (sell)??
Yes, i've only got some parts of the original grill, It got busted by the former owner. This a custom made scrap-thing..... (don't know if this is english, but you know what i mean):eek2:
I never said that it's not a model year 1976 car, I typed that it's a Century Custom instead of a Plain Jane Century :TU:
He lennard, have you seen the pictures? looks a bit like your car. Do you have an adres for bodyparts here in holland? or junkyard with buick stuff?
Mike, that's a great looking car and appears to have a lot of get up and go as well. Let me know if you're going to sell it, I like that style too although maybe I'm in the minority on that.
